School Gardening Workshops
At Barton Grange, we try to encourage children not only to be creative, but also to take an interest in the wonderful world of plants and gardening. That is why we have our Barton Grange Gardening Workshops for schools.
What’s included?
Three activities with our workshop leaders:
• Seed Sowing
• Colouring or Crafts
• Specialised Tour of our Garden Centre
Juice and biscuits.
Need to know:
Price: £1 per child
The maximum number of children per workshop is thirty, so we can split a year group over a few days. The workshops run from 10am to 12pm and the children will need to be split up into three groups prior to arrival. The children will rotate every twenty-five minutes onto a different activity. A minimum of one teacher per activity is required at all times.
