Known as ‘The Christmas Rose’: Hellebore’s flower from late winter to spring and many are evergreen. They are hardy plants that prove easy to grow and are undemanding, enjoying partial or dappled shade. Plant from autumn to spring in moist, free-draining soil. There are fewer pollinators around when the Hellebore is in flower, but the blooms have rich nectar and lots of pollen, making them an instant hit for hungry bumblebees in the winter months!
