National Children's Gardening Week 2024!

It’s National Children’s Gardening Week from 25th May to 2nd June 2024 and we’ve come up with a bunch of fresh ideas to encourage budding young gardeners.

Let’s come together to help children grow!

Make your own Miniature Garden

This creative workshop gives children the chance to let their imaginations run wild! Each child is given a pot to decorate and fill with a plant. It’s a hand-on experience that will teach them all about how plants grow.

  11:30am – 12:30pm |  1pm – 2pm | £10 per child

Children must be over 3 years old and be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Gardening Tools for Little Hands

From rakes and spades to gloves and caddy bags, our mini tools all feature bright colours and chunky handles which are perfect for little green fingers. There’s also a choice of cute elephant watering cans for splashing good fun!

Grow Your Own Sunflower Race

Perfect for kids, our Happy Gardens Sunflower Race Pack contains everything you need to grow your own sunflowers. With three pots in the pack, you can race to grow your sunflower against friends or family to make things more exciting!

Head to our Gardening and Wildlife Department to find a cute collection of Mr Men and Little Miss Seeds for younger gardeners. With a fantastic choice of easy-to-grow fruit, vegetables and flowers, they are a great way to get kids sowing and growing.
