Fresh delivery! A huge selection of beautiful plants from Tuscany has just arrived in our Outdoor Plant Area. Discover fully grown conifers, ornamental trees, shrubs and topiary.

Our Plant Area team travelled to Pistoia in Italy earlier this year to handpick each plant. They visited Vannucii Piante which is widely known for being one of the best nurseries in the world, with more than 1,000 species to choose from in over 100 nurseries spanning 545 hectares!

The team’s top picks for 2024 include: Camellia sasanqua, Ginkgo biloba, Ilex variegatum, Liquidambar pom pom, Pittosporum tobira and Salix babylonica.

Our Plant Area manager Will Clark says: “We source our trees from Italy because when it comes to large specimens, the Italians grow the best in Europe. The increased light levels help the plants to grow much quicker which allows our growers to achieve larger plants in a shorter period of time. This means you can plant fully grown trees that will make an instant impact in your garden.”

In the Outdoor Plant Area you will discover conifers, specimen trees, shrubs, hedging and plenty of topiary. It’s extremely important to water and feed your new trees to help them take root. Our experienced Plant Area team is always happy to share advice and tips to help you grow with success!
