Garden Centre Plants, Barton Lane, Barton, Preston PR3 5AU, is the wholesale division of The Barton Grange Group LTD. 

Supplying a wide range of plants to Garden Centres and retailers nationwide from our 35-acre site comprising both indoor and outdoor growing areas.

Key Responsibilities:

           . First contact for customers wishing to place orders.

            . Maintain and build existing customer contacts and relationships

            . Achieve maximum customer orders and order fulfilment.

            . Give accurate and confident advice to customers on stock levels and best plants.

            . Provide regular customer contact by phone, email and scheduled visits nationwide.

             . Work with the transport manager to ensure timely and cost effective deliveries.

             . Manage and advise customers on any plant queries

Skills and Experience:

      .  Ideally to have some plant/product knowledge.

      . Good communication skills to all levels of the sales/supply team.

      . Attention to detail needed to give great customer service.

      .  The ability to work both individually and as part of a team.

      . Reasonable I.T. experience and skills.

      . Confidence and passion to sell plants and hit sales targets.
