Candle Making Session with Wick-ed

Whether you’re a complete beginner or an experienced candle maker, we will guide you through the fundamentals, using Wick-ed 100% soy wax, quality Woodwicks and a beautiful selection of paraben free, premium UK fragrances. Nuno Felting Workshop with Erika

Experiment with colours and textures and make a lightweight Nuno Felted scarf, wall hanging or a panel for further projects like making lampshades.
During this unique workshop, you will learn about the Nuno Felting technique, how to lay out the wool on top of the silk chiffon base and how to incorporate embellishments like silks, wool nepps, curls, uniquely dyed silk gauzes and many others into your piece.

Lancashire Hawks & Owls

Lancashire Hawks and Owls is a private organisation that rescues and looks after birds of prey which cannot be returned to the wild. At this event you’ll have a chance to meet both the people and the birds they rescue! All the birds of prey in the display are hand reared and totally approachable which means you can touch them and have your photo taken with them for a charge of £2 (cash only). Come along for a fascinating look at these wonderful creatures.
