Our freshly cut Christmas trees are now in! Our outside plant area has been transformed into a forest of fir trees, so you to walk around them to find that perfect tree for your home. We have two fabulously festive varieties to choose from, both of which are available in a range of sizes.
Nordmann Fir
- Has softer needles so ideal for homes with pets and small children.
- A great shape for decorating.
- Holds its needles well.
- Available in sizes ranging from approximately 1.5m (5ft) to 3m (9ft).
Fraser Fir
- Smells lovely, with an orangey pine scent.
- A slim tree, ideal for smaller rooms.
- Holds its needles well.
- Available in sizes ranging from approximately 1.7m (6ft) to 2.4m (8ft).
We know how important it is to find that perfect tree, so we’re very happy to help!
To ensure you get the most out of your tree this Christmas, we advise that you leave your tree in a bucket of water outside (or in a cool place) overnight without any netting on so that the tree can return to its normal shape before decorating.
All fresh trees require water at the base, and you can pick up a stand for your tree here too! One great advantage is that all the stands we offer hold water – you may be surprised to learn a cut tree can drink a pint of water a day! With our stands it’s easy to supply this water, giving the tree a much longer life span.
Once you’ve chosen your tree and you’re happy with it, we will net it for you.
Recycling Trees for a Greener Christmas
We are launching a new eco-friendly initiative in 2023 to encourage more people to recycle their Christmas trees. Drop your real trees off with us and we will donate them to the Fylde Sand Dune Project, a scheme dedicated to making Lancashire a better place for local wildlife and residents. The trees will be used to provide improved coastal defences against the sand and sea. As the branches and pines trap sand particles they help to build new dunes that will benefit the local environment. Anyone wanting to recycle their tree should report to Barton Grange reception and one of our team will direct you where to leave your tree.
Drop off times: Saturday 27th December 2023 – Sunday 31st December: 10.30am to 4.30pm
Tuesday 2nd January – Friday 5th January 2024: 9am to 5.30pm
